Windermere Blues

I am currently on holiday in the wet and windy Lake District, Cumbria on my way to the West Highlands of Scotland.

 

Due to the windy cloudy weather conditions and no real colour in the sky so I had a go at some long exposures, this image was taken about 30 minutes after sunset looking over Lake Windermere – quite pleased with effect!

 

Hope to find some colour in the Highlands over the next week!

 

90 second exposure using a Lee 0.9 + 0.6 (reversed) ND grad filters.
