Macro Monday - Lost theme
This is "Doggy Blankie." It is actually a replacement Doggy Blankie. My son has had this blanket (a Gerber 'Lil Clutch blanket) it is about a foot square, white flannel on one side, blue silky side on the other with ruffled corners. (Comes in pink for girls). He has had this one for years, but the original one was lost at the Denver Zoo. We noticed it was missing pretty soon and followed the trail we had just been on, by the elephant enclosure. There were no trash cans or places it could have gone because the sides of the trail were blocked off due to construction going on, so it couldn't have fallen in anywhere. This was very traumatic, and we went to lost and found and I went back days later to see if ithad been found, but no luck. I ordered a new one off of eBay eventually and he has had it for years now. Doesn't need it as much as when he was younger, but he likes to hold it still. It is dirty even after we wash it. But "Doggy" will always be special to us.
