Blue Potato Flower – Lycianthes rantonnetii

The Blue Potato Bush has another name which is Paraguay Nightshade which is part of the Nightshade family and all parts of this plant are very toxic to humans. This bush grows to about 6ft tall and can get up to 6ft across and is evergreen, they produce a profusion of lovely blue flowers with a very prominent yellow centre after the flowers finish blooming they then produce red berries.
