Eye of the beholder

While wandering alone over the cyberspace, I accidently stumbled upon "The Grid System" and "Swiss Design."

 

Then I went on to read "Typographic Systems" by Kimberly Elam and "Grid systems in graphic design" by Josef Müller-Brockmann.

 

Then came the above.
