MRS. GUPTA INAUGURATES THE T-20 CRICKET WORLD CUP 2017 FOR BLIND

Don’t be pushed around by your problems; be led by your dreams. This was the message of the much awaited second T20 Cricket World Cup for the Blind, organised by the Cricket Association for the Blind in India. The Hon’ble Chairperson of Presidium, Mrs. Sudha Gupta graced the inauguration of the event. The function was held at the K. D. Jadhav Indoor Stadium in Indira Gandhi Sports Complex. The event commenced with Mrs. Gupta lighting the lamp along with the Hon’ble Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, Sri. Thawar Chand Gehlot and Hon'ble Minister of Youth Affair and Sports, Sri. Vijay Goel. The tournament is set to be played at nine different centres all over India till 12th February. To watch the visually impaired play fills every heart with deep respect for the players. They are a true example of how passion can overcome every disability.
