Taken outside the Delta after the CBC sponsored show Friday Night.
When entering the show we were told by a very unpersonable woman that CBC wouldn't allow us to bring our cameras in. We either had to find somewhere to stow them, or leave. Luckily the front desk was kind enough to hang onto them for us.
I am still very upset at not being allowed to take my camera into the show while anyone with a small digital, or cell phone camera was.
I don't see how any pictures we took would have been anything but good publicity for the bands and CBC. I was very much looking forward to making my first contribution to the CBC Radio 3 Last Nights Gig group.
I throw a lot of love and attention at the CBC, especially CBC Radio 3, and I'm very disappointed with how we were treated at their show.
--UPDATE-- I heard from the man himself, Grant Lawrence that it was probably an overzealous volunteer, and that none of the bands cared if photos were being taken. Well, I know for next time if it happens again.
