What Do The Metal Spikes Portend?

Under this unassuming garbage bag is a number of experiments in hypertufa, papercrete, and what would essentially be called hyperpapertufa. Hypertufa is peat moss, pearlite (sometimes vermiculite) and cement. It hardens to look like antique stone, and is frequently used as a planter for alkaline loving plants. Moss will grow on it! Papercrete is a blend of shredded paper and cement. My experiment in 'hyperpapertufa' is hypertufa with shredded paper replacing the pearlite because I ran out of it.
