Setting Sun Ignites Water (Prayers for the Boston Marathon Bombing Victims)
Taken a few weeks ago on a gorgeous late evening riverside walk with Beefy, here you can see an intense late winter / early spring filling the sky with fiery colours and setting the river and meltwater ablaze with molten streaks of light.
Oh, and if you look closely, you can even see some ducks and geese on the water!
The fiery colours and intensity in this image strike home particularly powerfully with me today in the wake of the horrific Boston Marathon Bombings, which I have now heard had 3 bombs, 3 people dead, and over 170 grusomely injured, including senior citizens and children of all ages.
How truly horrifying and sad.
Please let our thoughts and prayers go out to all the victims and all their loved ones in this trying time.
