Intense Chinook Sunset

We are watching Sage this weekend, so yesterday evening I loaded Sage and Beefy into the car and drove us all out to the wonderful Southland Dog Park, a huge and lovely off leash dog area that has many gorgeous paths and is always filled with so many happy, energetic dogs!

 

Beefy and Sage get sooooo excited on the car ride there; the closer we get to the park, the crazier they go!

 

I love this place because I can wander around snapping photos knowing that the dogs will never stray too far from me, and it being off leash, my hands can be free for my camera!

 

Anyway, the weather has been AMAZING lately; as you can see here, the unseasonably high temperatures are causing massive snow meltage, there was a nice warm breeze, and, best of all, there was a spectacular sunset going on in the sky!

 

The way the sunset light was illuminating the pools of melted snow was crazy!

 

This is basically straight off the camera, aside from a bit of sharpening and adding the frame!
