Chinook Sky Over Winter Field (Explore # 468 March 1 2012)

Taken on January 2nd of this year, the day after New Years and really the last day of Lisa and mine's holidays, on an quick dog run just before coming back to the house and preparing a huge brunch for both sets of our parents.

Little did I know at this time that the week of spectacular skies we had around this time were foreshadowing the return to extreme winter colds, which lasted until about a week ago.

This was a magical sight; a vivid, pastel-hued Chinook arch over a snow covered winter field, a majestic solitary tree, and the industrial facilities of the Burnco Rock Processing Company located adjacent to the dog run beyond a huge fence.

Yay, just found out this got Explored, # 468 on March 1, 2012! Thanks so much, everyone who helped it get there!
