Sensational Chinook Sunset
This shot was taken last night from the passenger side window of my dad's car as we headed to meet my sister and her boyfriend for her birthday.
We headed downtown and had a lovely meal at the gorgeous Regency Palace Chinese Restaurant in Dragon City Mall (in Chinatown in downtown Calgary), and, while we were driving up there, we were witness to this stunning and sensational sunset, capping off a week of amazing, Chinook-induced morning and evening displays in the sky.
Sadly, the Chinook will be ending soon and temperatures are expected to plummet to minus 25-30 degrees Centigrade again this week...brr! Not looking forward to that!
