The Paris Opera

It was actually my intent to be near the Arc de Triumphe on this particular evening at dusk, but I made a wrong turn and ended up at the opera house! Oh well... that's okay. I didn't have time to go anywhere else during this ephemeral time, so I decided to set up for a good HDR of this situation.

Trey's Tip: If you want to get the light trails, wait until the traffic starts to move and ensure your shutter is open for at least 10 seconds. There are a variety of ways to do this. Personally, I shoot HDR in Aperture priority mode, so I make sure my middle exposure is open for 5-15 seconds. When it aperture priority, you can adjust the shutter speed by messing with the aperture and ISO until you get that middle exposure where you want it. Is your shutter too fast? Cut your ISO in half and that will double the shutter speed time.
