These are the bubbling sulfur pools of geothermal Iceland.

 

I shot this a very short distance from where Clint Eastwood shot his movie about Iwo Jima, an area which looks more like Iwo Jima than Iwo Jima itself.

 

When I got back in the car, I noticed my shoes were orange and I smelled like a Grand Slam omelette.
