Abstract Snowscape
I've started playing more with landscape shots and not showing the horizon line. I think in landscape photography, typically you always see some kind of horizon, or at least have a general sense of where it is. This gives the viewer a certain amount of context as to what is going on. But, by removing that context and completely obscuring the horizon, it becomes a bit more mysterious and abstract. Try experimenting with this… just little ideas here and there.
This was taken near Glenorchy, New Zealand.
