Chocolate Malted Cup Cakes

Cup Cakes baked by my wife for her local coffe morning with the other mums from school.

 

And some for me :)

 

Recipe makes 12

 

110g unsalted butter

120g soft brown sugar

100g golden caster sugar

2 large free range eggs

125g self raising flour

60g plain flour

50 ovaltine

125ml semi skimmed milk @ room temp

1/2 tsp good quality vanilla extract

1 tbl sour cream

 

Icing

 

175g good quality dark chocolate 70% coco

225g unsalted butter

1 tbl semi skimmed milk

1 tsp good quality vanilla extract

250g icing sugar
