Embo

Back after a week's holiday on the North East coast of the Scottish Highlands - coincided with some lovely weather, so had a few opportunities to get to know my camera better :-)

Things I've learned...

- Low light handling is great

- ISO 50 gives a whole new opportunity (I don't own any filters)

- I need to get a wider lens

- I havent set my camera to BST, so all exif data is one hour out.

- Walking on wet rocks during twilight can be trecherous.

- Using your tripod to break your fall offers little help and ultimately leads to a broken tripod!

Big thanks to www.flickr.com/photos/heathersmemories/ for some really great tips and advice on places to visit and things to see... what a beautiful part of the country!

This shot is on Embo beach, after sundown, looking away from the sun... a good candidate for a b&w, but I liked the colour of the sky too much.

Thanks for all the views, comments, favs whilst I have been a away...
