Leeds in Polyptych - 52 Week Project. Week 12 - The Minster

Beginning in week 1 of 2013, I aim to create 52 polyptych compositions of Leeds - 1 per week.

 

 

 

 

Originally, a polyptych was a religious piece on an alter which had four or more hinged panels. Each panel displayed a relief or painting. Today photographers typically use the term to describe a photo-story; a themed photographic sequence or a group of pictures with something in common.

 

 

 

 

Each composition will have a theme, and will be of photographs taken in Leeds

 

 

 

 

These shots are part of the Leeds Minster, or the Minster and Parish Church of Saint Peter-at-Leeds, formerly Leeds Parish Church
