The Saturday mid-day snooze for the 21
On Saturdays service 21 has a very decent lay-over at the Royal Infirmary at 12 and 2pm with drivers getting a 15 minute break which of course is a great help to you and me! And I must say how splendid and immaculate Dart 72 looks here. This fleet of buses was new from 2002 but some of them these days look like they've just come off the production line.
Lothian Buses look after their vehicles very carefully and each bus is washed and shampooed, polished and checked every day. A credit to the company as can be seen when travelling in and around the City of Edinburgh.
As a stroke of photographic luck note the reflection on the windscreen of the driver's cab here and observe the crescent of the RI buildings behind where I'm standing.
