Charlie and Freddie

Brothers in arms Charlie Boy and Freddie aged around five months old in my bathroom sink in October 2009.

 

Not so much Freddie but Charlie right up until his final days would position himself the sink during every single bath I took.

 

Despite his passing I still lay out Charlie's towel in the sink prior to taking a bath.

 

Freddie on the left passed away at home aged 10 after a short illness on August 20th 2019.

 

Charlie on the right was put to sleep by a veterinary surgeon after a severe and unrecoverable neurological event after several months of gradual decline aged 15 and a half years old on December 19th 2024.

 

Charlie's passing brought to an end the Charlie and Freddie era, their life odyssey, their personal companionship and their flickr adventure.
