2017 Ford Mondeo Titanium

My very dirty 2017 Ford Mondeo Titanium 2.0L 180 TDCi hackney carriage taxi on a bitterly cold December day.

 

The mid December 2022 'cold snap' in the UK is proving nigh on impossible in trying to keep my business vehicle clean and presentable which is something I pride myself on.

 

It's around -9°C (16°F) at the time of the photoshoot.

 

The relentless road salt spraying, the cold temperature, the frozen jet/car washes and the ice/frost that doesn't want to melt on the roof. The car is far dirtier than it looks in the photograph. This sort of thing drives me absolutely insane.

 

Note the frost on the door handles/tailgate/roof that remains in situ after several hours into my shift.

 

This car is a continuation of my long tradition of owning and/or driving countless 'D' sector 'large family' class of Ford Cortina/Sierra/Mondeo motor vehicles that stretches all the way back to early 1986 and my purchase of a 1977 Ford Cortina Ghia.
