High Roding Guidepost (2)
This guidepost in the village of High Roding Essex (UK) was constructed by the Maldon Iron Works and was installed by Essex County Council sometime between 1920-1940.
Note that Takeley Station (closed 1952) is still on the sign but unpainted and the B184 signs have been added at a later date.
It seems to have lost its black bands over the years too but compared with some fingerposts in the area this one is in good shape as maintained by Uttlesford District Council.
