Class 90, 90009
British Rail Class 90 25kV Bo-Bo electric locomotive 90009 shoving the 1P40 15:30 (16:12 2E) Abellio Greater Anglia London Liverpool Street- Norwich service train northbound on July 9th 2018 at Marks Tey Station on the Great Eastern Main Line in Essex (UK).
On the Great Eastern Main Line the Class 90 push pull locomotives are always at the London end of the train.
90009 has previously been named 'Royal Show', 'The Economist' and most recently 'Diamond Jubilee' along with a full size Union Flag on the side but these have all been removed.
90009 was built at British Rail Crewe Works and entered service on September 7th 1988.
Note the 'moody sky'..
