Return to Ommadawn

Mike Oldfield's music really interested me in my younger days. I bought a load of his albums and loved a lot of them.

I was lucky enough to see him in concert in Edinburgh back in 1981 and have never been to a better concert since then.

 

Now his latest album. 'Return to Ommadawn' has been released and it is pretty much a return to form as he goes back to the style of his earliest (and for me, best) albums.

 

During our walk in these magical snow covered forests, Oldfield's music was bouncing around in my head all day. Brilliant.
