Daddy 1931
That's my dad on the right in the necktie. He was a senior at the McCallie School, a military academy in Chattanooga, TN, at the time this photo was taken. He graduated from McCallie at 16, turning 17 in August just before entering Davidson College that fall.
A few years ago my sister Alicia sent a low resolution copy of this photo to me in an email, shortly before matters between us got so bad that I never wrote to her again. There are no copies of this anywhere else; this photo was one our grandmother kept in an album that Alicia "liberated" either from our grandmother's home or from Tiz, our mother.
I'd love to have the original, as I would the others in her possession, so I can make copies for the whole family; but she won't budge on them.
