Leaky

Abandoned water pipe in Death Valley National Park. This pipe was manufactured by taking a long, narrow sheet of steel and rolling it into a spiral shape and riveting the seams together. The pipe fed water to the same mine that was served by the charcoal kilns in other photos I have posted. The charcoal kilns were built in 1877, so I imagine this pipe is from the same general date.
