Ambulances at Edinburgh City Ambulance Station, February 2014

At January 2014, Edinburgh has one 'hub' ambulance station, designed originally as a reporting and make ready site, taking over from the previous 'South' Station at Greenbank Drive and 'North' Station at Brunswick Street.

Shown is a mix of front-line A&E Ambulances, mainly Wilker conversions on 200 bhp Ford Transit, almost new Mercedes Sprinter V6, the Peugeot Boxer and VW Crafter. Scotland has remained with white vehicles whilst most of the other NHS ambulance services went over to yellow quite a few years ago. The Air Ambulances are yellow though!
