An uphill climb
Shot along the Sungai Pulai-Gua Musang road on the way to Tanah Rata. Although this route takes one further up north than the old road at the Tapah town, it's not as winding as the infamous Tapah-Tanah Rata route, which tends to suffer from rock slides.
Unlike the old road, there are no tourist stops like natural waterfalls - this expressway literally cuts through the mountains and the scenery is fabulous. As much as I would have loved to drive along this road, I'd rather take pictures and enjoy the views. :-)
The location of this stretch is unfortunately an estimation as my camera doesn't have a built in GPS.
