Winter delight

I am afraid I have a hang up on photos taken against the sun, and more so in winter time. I am not very good at it, but it is a kind of pictures I like. So there will come more of them in time to come.

 

Here I had two pictures taken at the same time with different formats. Normally I would go for the picture with Storm in it as it seems to draw a few extra comments. But it feels like a bad compose here as the road is supposd to draw the eye in, but here the dog stands in the front blocking it. So I made up my mind and put this as the main photo. I'd like to hear it if you think otherwise. You might also tell me if you think this is all rubbish. But then I will block you!!!
