minneapolis minnesota city tunnel architecture
Minneapolis, Minnesota has a large network of subterranean tunnels, storm drains, old mill canals and sewers that wind their way under the city and open to the Mississippi River. This architecture is difficult to reach because of the high river water - the opening looks like a natural cave but it turned out to be a large storm drain that travels deep under E 38th Street - both a little spooky and smelly. A shout-out to Cousin Greg for guarding the entrance while doing a pretty good Michael Myers/Jason Voorhees impersonation :O
