"Exercise 1 – Choose a spot, in your home or outdoors, or any other place Take twenty shots with very different points of view. Don’t move your feet, except to rotate in your position. You may use different lenses & filters, different focal points, apertures & shutter speeds. You may stand, sit, kneel, squat, or climb up, for different perspectives."
I figured the funnest way to do this exercise would be to go pick a spot where things would happen - in this case, a bench near the beach and a street. Shooting blind, panning, motion blur... I gave myself permission to shoot more than 20 images to fine-tune the effects I liked. Changed between the 24-70 and the 70-300 a couple of times, used very different points of view, but all the ones I liked were low angles this time around. These six are my favorites.
