Three of the most incredible seascapes of the entire Mediterranean can be embraced from this point : the steep drop to the Amalfi coast to the east and south, Capri (see previous pics) to the west, the bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius to the north (this pic). And yet, on this day of glorious weather, not a single tourist or local hiker was in sight, even though it requires only a short and easy hike to get here, and the temperature was perfect. One understands why there are so many lidos everywhere, because, except for me, everyone around here seems to prefer lying on a sunlounger to hiking and experiencing the beauty of the world...
