Pears Treated with Ascorbic Acid

Pears being treated with vitamin C. Ascorbic acid prevents browning and doesn't add flavor like lemon juice will. For a large bowl of cold water, crush 6 tablets and mix into the water. For a smaller bowl like this one, I only use 3 tablets.
