Puffin With Sandeels

Puffin ( Fratercula arctica )

 

A shot that has been on my wish list for a long time.

 

A wee Puffin with a mouthful of sandeels, a small fish that make up a huge proportion of this seabird's diet during the breeding season.

 

Taken while on a trip to the Isle of Lunga, the largest of the Treshnish Isles in Argyll and Bute, Scotland.
