Sunburst Island
A view over to the Isle of Arran.
Taken from rocks beyond the tidal pools at Saltcoats.
The water flow at the base of the image is the water seeping through the tidal pool wall and flowing back into the sea, combined with the distant sunburst of the setting sun over Isle of Arran created such a beautiful scene.
--
Saltcoats is a small town on the West Coast of Scotland,
This name is derived from the town's earliest industry when salt was harvested from the sea water, carried out in small cottages along the beach.
--
Manual settings with a small aperture of f/18 to create the distant sunburst.
