After the storm - Waiwera and the Little River Valley, Banks Peninsula, New Zealand

I really like the washed out, patchy light you get as a storm starts to clear. This photo taken looking down from the hills of Banks Peninsula, Canterbury, onto Waiwera (Lake Forsyth) and Little River. The Lake's brown colour is the result of sediment run-off as the storm caused the many small local streams to burst their banks.
