paua divers' camp, Plimmerton Coast, Wellington, New Zealand
I was taken with this paua diver's camp - a collection of shelters comprised of a tent and some converted shipping containers. It had a paradoxical aire of the temporary and timelessness. The Maori carvings of locallly available driftwood built into a driftwood pallisade, looked at once makeshift but also suggested seemed timeless and permanent.
