Nature reclaims

The beautiful and historically significant Charming Creek Walkway that follows the Ngakawau River Gorge and Charming Creek is full of relics from its early history as a place for the mining of coal and gold and the milling of timber. Much of the track follows and old mining railway and all along the route these rusting reminders of a different age are slowly settling back into the bush.
