Herons in the sky 5

this series of shots are of a pair of white-faced heron (Ardea novaehollandiae) perched on a standing dead tree caught against the evening sky. The changing colours in the background between shots are a result of the changing colour of the light as the sun set and I also varied the exposure to go from a pure silhouette to exposing for the birds and washing out the sky.
