Mt. Baker, Oct 2008

I'd never been to Mt. Baker before, and was amazed how close by it was. the drive was less than some Chilliwack hikes.

We stayed for 3 days of hiking, and will be going back for sure. The conditions could not have been more perfect, a light dust of snow had fallen but not enough to to make it an obstacle. In fact, it made it even easier to grip.

The trails here are simply spectacular.

Skyline Divide
Chain Lakes
Fire&Ice
Artist Ridge
Table Mountain

For those interested in going, I suggest staying in Glacier over the towns further West to cut down on daily commutes to the trailheads.
