Tampere, Sept 2008

I've seen most of the major Finnish cities but this was my first time to Tampere.

I was attending meetings in the Helsinki area but had a work reason to visit the site here and I was glad I took some time to look around.

Tampere, in my opinion, is the nicest Finnish city I've seen yet. There was enough contour here to make me feel at home and being between 2 lakes gave it the "near the water" feeling.
