Tongariro Crossing

This had to be where they shot the approach to Mt. Doom. Rocky crags and stinky sulfur plumes sprouting from the earth.

 

This was the day we met the regular hikers doing the 1 day crossing at the mind blowing "Tongariro Crossing".

Done
