Part of the exhibition at the Out of Africa theme park was this "get up close" experience with a python. Generally I am not a snake fan and this python was about 25 feet in length with its head being about the size of a couple of baseballs.
Strangely, I felt comfortable in its presence. I petted it and it came to me attempting to crawl up my pants leg. I didn't let that continue; overall it was a pleasant and friendly experience. I am sure that experiencing this same snake out in the jungle would have me running as far away and as fast as I could to escape from its presence.
