Sleeping Horse

There are few places in the United States where one can view feral horses in their natural habitat. The beautiful (and protected) horses that freely roam Assateague Island National Seashore, along the Atlantic Ocean, are tough enough to survive scorching heat, mosquitoes, stormy weather, and the remote windswept barrier island's poor quality food.
