Phantom of the Lake
I didn't expect the harsh midday sun to allow anything interesting from this shot, but the color of Crater Lake and the reflection from Applegate Peak made its own magic. This formation - called the "Phantom Ship" is found in the south eastern portion of the lake. This was taken from the Phantom Ship Overlook site... well, very close to there using a 448mm (effective focal length) telephoto lens.
