Bodi girl in B&W - Ethiopie

I loved this picture in color, but i like it even more in BW.

 

The Bodi ( or Mekan / Me'en ) live near the Omo river and are the neighbours of the Mursi. Some women wear a small clayplate under their lower lip. This is a statussymbol and means that they have had at least 3 children. The Bodi are under a lot of pressure of the sugarcane factories that are being build in their territory.
