Canon 5D Mark II, 17-40mm f/4.0L, flash

I tried this shot before but I am much happier with this one. Sadly, I was shooting sunset pictures so we got to this site late and missed the sky. It also posed the problem of the overhead ambient bleeding on to Jen's face. Most of that was countered by using the soft box to shadow her from the light. There is another version of this shot here where a passing car gets exposure by the splash from the flash. I'm not sure which one I like better.

Strobist: 580EX II @ 1/4 power through 24" Lastolite Ezybox just out of frame to camera right and slightly above subject. The flash was gelled with a full cut of CTO and white balance was set to tungsten. The 580EX II was connected to the camera via a 20 foot ETTL cable so I could use 2nd curtain sync. I hand-held the camera for the 1 second exposure. Post in Aperture 3.1. A set up shot is here.
