Mobility

Even the disabled should be physically and socially mobile.

 

Spain has a long way to go to making itself wheelchair friendly, its streets have high kerb stones, narrow footpaths and poor surfaces in places. Just look at the kerb stone in this photo.

However, I have noticed that things are getting better over the last few years.

 

This man is lucky enough to have a powered attachment that get him around. This represents a serious mobility investment by himself (or by someone else) - these things can be very expensive. Every disabled person deserves the right to lead as normal a life as possible.
