Promise of a PASSING shower
I can't believe how quickly the weather turns in the UK sometimes. One minute it was beautiful blue skies and the next this apocalyptic looking dark cloud started creeping towards our apartment from far in the horizon - you could actually see the wall of rain.
When the rain came it pelted down like a jet hose but it was strange. The sun started peaking through the and it was raining and sunny at the same time. I knew we'd end up with a rainbow so went and got the camera ready.
I decided on this treatment - to capture the raindrops on the window and create a bokeh of the skyline - because wanted to really capture the drenched atmosphere. Also, the skyline directly outside our apartment doesn't make for the best compositions.
I've exaggerated the colour in the rainbow a little bit in post processing just to make it stand out a little more.
