Blow out!
I over exposed this shot purposely as I wanted to try something different and accentuate the contrast between Darren's features and face.
Lighting wise I used the natural light coming in the window directly behind me, no fill in flash. Again, I'm really happy with the result and should use that window more often for shoots.
To further accentuate the contrast between the light on his face and his features I've used a de-saturation technique where you add a B&W layer, add 30% of the colour back in, then add another colour layer on top of that and change the blending mode to Soft Light. I really like the effect that results from this technique.
Comments, criticism or ideas for future most welcome. I am always learning particularly where portraits are concerned.
