Millennium bridge and St. Paul's Cathedral

I was out last night trying to get some sunset shots over the Thames. Really didn't have much inspiration and was so frustrated. Then saw the silhouettes of the people walking on the bridge created by the sun setting just at the top left of the frame.

 

It's funny, because so often I'm waiting for people to move out of the way of a subject so I can take a picture of it, but on this occasion I was willing them to come so I could capture them at the exact position I wanted them. This was about the best one really.

 

Originally shot in wide angle but the lack of foreground interest forced me to crop around the bottom right hand side.
